Join the Massad Marlins Swim Team !
Summer
League swimming is an excellent opportunity for kids to exercise,
improve their swimming, compete, and above all HAVE FUN!
Our swim team operates out of the Water Park at the Rappahannock Massad
YMCA.
Who
We Are
We
are a parent-run swim team for the YMCA.
We are part of the Rappahannock Swim League,
which consists of 23 area summer league teams.
The league is divided into 4 divisions: Battlefield, Patriot,
American, and
National. Our team
is part of the American Division, which consists of 6 teams.
We will swim against Fox Point, Fredericksburg Country Club,
Lake of the Woods, Eden Estates, and the new Spotsylvania YMCA team. We
will begin practicing in May, at night before school gets out then in
the mornings thereafter. Swim Meets start in June and run
through
July with championships on the first weekend in August.
How
to Join
In order to register your child/children for the Massad Marlins Swim Team, you must:
- Have an active YMCA Membership
- Have an active Water Park Membership
The swim team member fee will be $35 per child
We are accepting ages 18 & under
Your child must be able to swim one lap of the pool with no assistance.
Each swimmer must have a signed RSL Release of Liability Form <Download>
Discounts:
- No joining fees for NEW members of the YMCA and Water Park
- All YMCA employees will receive a 20% discount on the swim team registration fee
